It has gotten me thinking A LOT about mindset (obviously) in different facets of life: relationships, work, passions and goals, and how we have the power to choose our mindset. We have the power to control our reactions to things. In the blink of an eye we can change our thoughts from feeling incredibly negative about something, to turning it around and looking at the positive. While this sounds all sunshine and rainbows, and there’s no way that can happen for you, let me be the first to tell you, it actually can. I’ve tried it. Several times. And it works. Now, don’t get me wrong, there’s always work to be done, but as Mel says, this is a practice that takes time. It’s not a one and done, overnight positivity all the time. We are a work in progress. We are constantly growing, changing, learning and evolving; if we weren’t we’d be stuck in the past. We have to keep moving forward. Why not do so with positivity and being as present as possible. Don’t we all deserve that?
